What we need from you all now is to get more involved. We know that a lot of visitors stay at Mossyard and Sandgreen over the Gala Week so how about organising a raft from each site to compete in the raft race? Remember sunshine has been ordered and you will need to cool off somewhere – what better than the river!
Welcome to the Gala website.
First of all I would like to thank everyone on the committee who worked really hard to ensure a successful Gala for 2008 and also to everyone who turned up and participated. The weather was not too bad during the week but we have booked sunshine for next year to be certain!
We also need lots more floats. You come up with the ideas and we will try and come up with the necessary transport facilities.
And finally this is our DIAMOND JUBILEE year so we are planning to make 2009 very special.
